Wide playmaker: The wide playmaker will drift into space from which he will try to play killer balls and to create chances. He is allowed to wander a bit but not too much. I have enough players that create movement and i need this midfielder to make sure their is balance between our defensive and attacking lines. I gave this position the player instruction to hold position. He is the creative outlet behind the attacking line who seeks to maintain intense pressure by constantly looking for new chances for his more advances teammates (attackers).Ĭentral midfielder: He is the versatile link between the defence and your attack. Regista: He needs to dictate the play from deep positions. He also provides an extra passing options for especially the midfielders and defenders. Left back: This defensive minded wing back will stay deep but will still cross the ball in space when he gets the chance. He also needs to keep an eye on his defensive responsibilities. Right back: This attacking fullback needs to overlap the midfield to provide crosses into the area. So the following attributes are quite important: passing, positioning, technique, concentration, determination and decissions. The second important thing they need to do is to build up from the back. It is very clear that that has to be their main priority. He is also there to pass the ball to the central defenders so your team can build up from the back.Ĭentral defenders: They need to stop the opponent from becoming dangerous.

Goalkeeper: He is there to make sure the opponent doesn’t score goals. You strikers need to be sharp though because the chances you get should count at all times.

This is a tactic which will give you a lot of ball possession and it provides solid goalscoring opportunities. Furthermore every player has his own part to play in this tactic and if they fail the tactic will fail. My players need to move, wander into (free) space where they can be found by their teammates and from where they can become dangerous. After some intensive testing i managed to find a tactic where i use symetrics and i also dominated the Premier League very hard. After reading about this and the thoughts and vision behind these tactics it was time for me to translate this into Football Manager 2016. During the 2012/2013 season SAF used a few different tactics where he introduced symetrics. Loads of managers have tried but i doubt that they will ever be as successful as SAF was with his United. The results Sir Alex Ferguson managed to get with the Red Devils are unbelievable. Manchester United has been a club who dominated the English and European football for quite some time. The player was hopeful of a move to Manchester United due his fellow Dutchman Louis van Gaal being in charge but the move never materialised.Using symetrics like Sir Alex Ferguson did with Man Utd during season 2012/2013

Vlaar made 79 appearances for Aston Villa but left the club on a free transfer at the end of the 2014-15 season. He will be injured for the first three to four months due to his serious knee injury but he could be a great addition to a mid-range Premiership side or some top cover for some of Europes' elite. Ron Vlaar Age: 30 Position: Centre Back Nationality: Dutch Former Club: Aston Villa Market Value: £4.25m A well-known defender, Ron Vlaar is probably the best centre back that you can get on Football Manager 2016. Last year's slightly disappointing selection made us all excited about the opportunity of signing El-Hadji Diouf or Victor Valdes (free of charge) but some of the names available on FM16 are genuinely world class. This year's Bosman list is brimming with potential and offers a wide range of experience, positions and nationalities ready for you to throw a contract at. Football Manager 2016 will once again present fans of the game with a whole new database of talented free-agents and if you choose to give them a home they could repay your faith with a string of gut-busting performances that make their former clubs regret letting them leave. The minute that your cash-saving recruit nets his first goal he immediately becomes your new-found conversation point a forever-lasting memory and most importantly a virtual best friend. Signing a successful free-transfer on Football Manager means so much more than just an extra name on your squad list.
